Free Smoking Cessation Clinic
A free charity clinic from Dr. Frank Hull's office for current smokers who have COPD or heart and vascular disease.
About the Clinic
Quitting smoking is one of the most important steps a person with lung or heart disease can take. Dr. Hull's office offers a free, short visit to talk through quitting and whether a prescription may help.
- Free of charge. This is a charity clinic; there is no fee for the visit.
- About 15 minutes. Telemedicine (video or phone) visits are available.
- Medication, if appropriate. The clinician may prescribe quit-smoking medication, such as varenicline or bupropion, if appropriate for you. Whether any medication is suitable is a medical decision made with the clinician.
Who the Clinic Is For
Adults who currently smoke and who have one or more of the following:
- COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
- Heart or vascular disease, such as stroke, heart attack or bypass surgery, or peripheral artery disease
